SMSF ADVICE FROM YOUR ACCOUNTANT AFTER 1 JULY 2016

From 1 July 2016 new laws will come into play and accountants will no longer be able to give clients advice about Self Managed Superannuation Funds, unless they hold an Australian Financial Services licence.

Thankfully we hold this license, so it will be business as usual for us. However, there will be some small changes, so click here to find out all the details.

SCAM PHONE CALLS FROM THE ‘ATO’

The Australian Tax Office (ATO) has issued a press release stating that there are people out there (let’s call them ‘scammers’) pretending to be the ATO.

These scammers are attempting to gain access to people’s personal details, their bank accounts, and in turn their hard earned cash.

WELCOME BACK!

We welcome Jodee and Grace back to the S&W team from Maternity leave. Their daughters are now 6 months old and as cute as ever.

We also welcome back Bill (and his new knee) to the office. His reconstruction has been a complete success and he’ll be back on the golf course before we know it!
