Superannuation guarantee contributions amnesty – an update
Back on 24 May 2018, the government announced a one-off opportunity for employers to self-correct past outstanding or unpaid superannuation guarantee (SG) without penalty.
To date the Amnesty bill has not been enacted and, with the election coming up and the possibility of a new government, all indications are that it will now not pass into law.

50 Years at Stanley & Williamson – by Sam Shun
As you maybe aware S&W turns 50 this year and over the next few months we will be bringing some S&W history to the Newsletter along with profiles of our current Partners.
We are proud to offer our clients an exceptional service that has seen Stanley & Williamson withstand 50 years of business. We again thank you and hope to do so for another 50 years.
Sam Shun who is now a Consultant (he retired as a Partner on 1 July 2012) has worked with S&W for 46 years and was a Partner for 33 of them.
Sam continues to oversee our clients SMSF needs and those clients he has be responsible for over the years.
Semi retired life has left time for Sam to engage in his two great passions – travel and golf.
